Free entry route

You never have to spend anything to enter a competition here. A postal entry goes into the same draw, gets a real ticket number, and has exactly the same chance of winning as one bought with tokens. It is not a lesser route and it is not harder to use — it is on every competition page for that reason.

How to enter free by post

  1. 01

    Write your entry on an unenclosed postcard

    Include your full name, your address, your email address, your telephone number, the exact name of the competition you are entering, and your answer to that competition’s skill question. The question is shown on the competition page.
  2. 02

    One entry per postcard, one postcard per envelope

    Multiple entries in a single envelope, photocopied entries, and bulk or automated entries are not accepted and will be discarded without notice.
  3. 03

    Post it to us

    Free Entry Route, Competition Heaven Ltd, [registered office address — to be confirmed before launch]
  4. 04

    We log it and send you your ticket number

    Your entry is added to the draw by hand and your ticket number is emailed to you. If you already have an account it is attached to it, so it appears in my tickets alongside anything else you hold.

The rules, plainly

  • Postal entries must arrive before the competition’s published closing time. We cannot take responsibility for post that is delayed or lost.
  • Your answer to the skill question has to be right. A postal entry with a wrong answer is not entered, exactly as an online entry with a wrong answer is not entered.
  • You have to be 18 or over, and resident in the United Kingdom, to enter by any route.
  • One free entry per person per competition, unless the competition page says otherwise.
  • Postal entries are drawn from the same pool of ticket numbers as paid entries. There is no separate free-entry draw and no separate prize.
  • We do not add you to any marketing list because you entered by post.

Slider games

Slider games have two free routes. Every account gets one free play a day once the memory gate has been passed, with the same published odds as a paid play. You can also enter by post: write to the address above naming the game instead of a competition, and we will add a free play to your account.

Pots

Pots have a free route too. Write to the address above naming the pot instead of a competition, and we will seat you in the next round that opens — at no cost, with exactly the same chance of taking the table as anyone who paid for their seat. A free seat adds nothing to the table and takes nothing away from it.
